How to record browser and desktop meetings

Teams Web or Google Meet in Chrome

  1. Select Browser meeting above.
  2. Click Start recording and choose the tab containing your meeting.
  3. Enable Share tab audio before clicking Share.
  4. The transcriber mixes the tab audio with your selected microphone.

Teams Desktop, Zoom, or another app

  1. Install BlackHole 2ch.
  2. In Audio MIDI Setup, create a Multi-Output Device containing your headphones/speakers and BlackHole 2ch.
  3. Create an Aggregate Device containing your microphone and BlackHole 2ch.
  4. Set Teams speaker output to the Multi-Output Device.
  5. On this page select the Aggregate Device, then use Refresh & test.

Use Chrome for the most reliable MediaRecorder support. Always tell participants that the meeting is being recorded.
